Soya Chunks Munchurian

Ingredients :

100 grams big Soya Chunks (boiled)
Oil for deep frying

For Batter :

3 tblsp All Purpose Flour / Maida
1 tblsp Cornflour / Cornstarch
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 tsp Soya Sauce
1 tsp Pepper Powder
Salt to taste
Water as required
Red food color (Optional)

For Sauce :

1 tbsp Oil
2 medium size Onion chopped
6 cloves Garlic chopped
2 Green Chilli chopped
1 medium size Capsicum (small cubed) (Optional)
2 tblsp Tomato Ketchup
2 tsp Soya Sauce
1 tsp Vinegar
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Pepper Powder
3 Spring Onion chopped finely
Water as needed

Method :

In a mixing bowl mix all the ingredients for batter. The batter should be semi thick.
Marinate all the Soya Chunks in this and keep it for 10 mins. Fry in hot oil till golden and crispy. Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Add in garlic, onions, green chillies and saute for a minute.
Add Capsicum and saute for 2 to 3 mins.
Now add soya sauce,tomato ketchup, vinegar,salt, sugar to balance the taste and mix well.
Add little water and bring it to a boil.
Add fried soya chunks and season with pepper powder and mix well.
Now add spring onion and mix.
Then Soya chnks munchurian is ready.
